ALAÏS MARZOUVANLIAN
|
Born in Marseille in 1999, Alaïs has always danced, sung and acted, experimenting with different dances and singing in numerous shows. In 2015 she made her first professional appearance with Josette Baïz's Groupe Grenade, performing pieces by Barak Marshall and Lucy Guerin, among others. At the same time, she studied dance theory and practice as a special option at her school. After two years as a trainee with the Compagnie Grenade, she joined the Ballet Junior de Genève in 2019. While there, she met a number of dancers who inspired her, including Emilio Artessero Quesada and Noa Zuk. Since graduating in June 2022, Alaïs has been performing Jeanne Garcia's piece Éponyme and working with Tanguy Crémoux's company Banane Rouge. She also took part in the "Ça peut toujours servir" training course at the RAMDAM art centre, where she met Maguy Marin and David Mambouch. Alaïs is joining the Maguy Marin company for its next creation, 2023.
