On June 7, the Banane Rouge dance company had the immense honor of winning First Prize at the Danse Élargie competition for its piece BLISTER. This prestigious award marks a milestone in the journey of our company and this production. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the institutions, partners, and collaborators who believed in our vision and made this work possible. We extend our warmest thanks to the artistic and technical team who carried this project forward with remarkable dedication and passion. A huge thank you to the performers Ludivine Ferrara, Yaz Sané, and Alaïs Marzouvanlian for their immediate commitment, their trust, and their powerful stage presence. Our deepest gratitude also goes to Teddy Seiler for designing the props and costumes, as well as for his invaluable support and sound advice during moments of doubt. We commend the work of Thibaut Fåck on lighting design and Mille Zhong on technical direction, whose expertise and meticulousness were essential to the success of this production. The Banane Rouge company would like to acknowledge the dedication of the organizers of Danse Élargie, who provide a unique and essential platform for contemporary dance. Thank you to the Théâtre de la Ville – Paris, Boris Charmatz / Terrain, the Fondation d’entreprise Hermès, the CNDC – Angers, LA COMEDIE DE VALENCE, and the CCN - Ballet de Lorraine for their hospitality and trust. The realization of BLISTER also relies on the institutional support of our valued partners. Our thanks go to the co-producers: the Théâtre de Suresnes Jean Vilar, as part of the Suresnes Cités Danse 2026 festival, and Le Carreau du Temple. We extend our sincere thanks to the FORE Foundation for its financial support, as well as to the organizations that hosted us in residence and provided artistic support: the Théâtre Jean Lurçat Scène nationale d’Aubusson and the CCN de Créteil et du Val-de-Marne | EMKA and La Fabrique de la Danse. photos: © Nora Houguenade

Thank you to the festival team, the audience, and everyone who supported this important step for the company. BLISTER continues its journey, and we are grateful to see the piece resonate with so many people. 💫 An extract from our piece was presented last May at the Carreau du Temple, in collaboration with La Fabrique de la Danse. This adventure continues, and the creation of BLISTER continues in a longer format scheduled for the 24/25 season. Your support is invaluable in helping this project grow!
