TANGUY CREMOUX

Born in Guadeloupe, Tanguy Crémoux discovered dance at the age of five. At fifteen, he left his native island to specialize in contemporary dance.
As a queer choreographer on the autism spectrum, he has developed a sensitive and socially engaged artistic universe shaped by his singular journey. In 2019, he joined the Ballet Junior de Genève, where he performed works by Hofesh Shechter, Ioannis Mandafounis, Maud Le Pladec, Marcos Morau, Roy Assaf, and Olivier Dubois. In 2023, he joined the creation Envol with the Compagnie Hoda.
As a choreographer, he created Nonsense/Absurdité in New York City in 2019, followed by two works in Geneva: Namja in 2021 and La Technique Du Paon in 2022. During the 2023/2024 season, he was selected to join the choreographic incubator of La Fabrique de la Danse.
His latest creation, Blister, was presented during the 34th edition of the Suresnes Cités Danse festival on January 31 and February 1, 2026. The piece was then selected for Danse Élargie 2026, where it won first prize.
What moves him in dance are the fragile things — twigs, unstable elements, the delicate tensions found both in nature and in our society. Details matter deeply to him. He explores human complexities through simplicity, choosing to suggest rather than to assert.
