TANGUY CREMOUX
|
Born in Guadeloupe, Tanguy Crémoux discovered dance at the age of 5. At the age of 15, he left his native island to specialise in contemporary dance, training at IFPRO (Paris) and the Martha Graham Dance School (New York).
As a dancer, in 2019 he performed Martha Graham's 'Secular Games' with the Graham 2 company. He then joined Ballet Junior de Genève, where he danced choreographies by Hofesh Shechter, Ioannis Mandafounis, Maud Le Pladec, Marcos Morau, Roy Assaf, Rachid Ouramdane, Olivier Dubois, Barak Marshall, Noa Zuk and Stijn Celis. In 2023 he joined the Hoda company in the creation of "Envol". As a choreographer, in 2019 he created "Nonsense/Absurdité", a piece for 6 dancers at the Graham Studio Theater in New York, and choreographed two pieces in Geneva, "Namja" in 2021 and "La Technique Du Paon" in 2022. He founded the company Banane Rouge in 2023. Alongside his career as a dancer/choreographer, Tanguy has a passion for acting and is trained at the Ecole Du Jeu. For the 2023/2024 season, he has been selected to join La Fabrique De La Danse's choreographer incubator. What moves him in dance are twigs, fragile, unstable things, whether in nature or in our society. Detail is very important to him. He deals with human complexities, but in a simple way. He will suggest more than affirm. |
